Roddoors -problems- Out of Business??

OK, I have purchased items from Roddoors before with good results. In fact I talked to their show guy at NSRA show in Milwaukee this summer specifically about Model A headliners etc that they had on display.

I ordered about $600 worth of items from them in October and they came on November 1. I called them as they had shipped me a 34 truck headliner in error from Chico CA. They promised to"get it out right away". After a month of waiting I called again only to find the phone numbers no longer match my packing slip.

I finally got a hold of a Roddoors guy in NC, seems they are no longer in CA, and let all their employees go. Despite promises of shipping in a few days, I have received nothing. Two months and $600 later I am more than pissed.

Anyone else having probelms with Roddoors? The intent of this post is to prevent Fellow HAMBers from getting scammed.

Damn: I think they are still advertising in the mags.??

 

I have called the local post office in areas and had good luck tracking if a buisness still exists by just asking... Just a thought.
