I only have a few small things to finish up, install gas tank, rear shocks, and some sheet metal work. But the notch turned out great and it gets as low as I was hoping. Here are a couple vids:

it looks ok. I like where you installed the air tank. Are you going to use a 60's mustang tank? Vinnie
coolest can crusher i've ever seen....looks good, my 52 is just about done being bagged...then I too can crush all my cans and take them to the recycling center....
Thanks for the vid...you just motivated me to get my ass out in the garage and start cutting mine up.....
SMC Valves, 1/2 DOT air line, 5 Gallon Tank, Firestone bags, Viair 450c compressor and soon an engine driven York. In this vid though my car was hooked to my shop compressor. The Yorks do fill super fast though. The notch started off at 9 inches, but I didnt use it all. Probably 6 or 7 inches would be fine.
Its a mono leaf, I am going to add a panhard bar. To get the room I ended up cutting about a half inch out of the notch, and reinforcing it with some 1/4 inch plate on both sides adn around the inside of the notch.
Hey man, keep on keepin' on. Lower it to the pavement and drive it to scrape away what is in the way!
I just finished my rear bags about 10 minutes ago , I'm using the one leaf per side method for now.....I have to trash the spare tire tub...seems to be hitting...my rear X member is about 3/4" of the ground right now... It goes up and down....I guess I might of done something right
I reused bags that I already had, I dont remember what I paid for them. But you can probably get what you need for a few hundred.
That looks like you spent a lot of money on that can crusher! It's good to see someone SOO financially dedicated to recyling! (Looks good man!)
