i think that it depends on the grill and what you are willing to let it go for. things like that are worth what you can get. no set price. post a pic and maybe you will get some offers.

Funny you would want a Oliver grille we have a local Oliver dealer here in town. I'll check and see what he has in stock

Really? I thought they were all gone. Dad's got a 1937 Row Crop 70 that grandpa give him in the barn. From the way it looks it will be up to me to restore it. See what old stock parts he has and let me know. Really need sheet metal parts.

This is a pet peeve of mine, Tractor grills belong on tractors!!!!!
You guys talk about them looking cool but critize someone who puts olds valve covers on a SBC or having a fiberglass car saying that they are "misrepresenting".
Are you trying to make people think you have a Massey-fergason instead of a model A, or a 1930 chevy??

I really dont care if YOU like it, because I do. Mine is a Ross, and I recently found out it may not be off a tractor. It MIGHT be from a forklift. I paid a whole $5 for it.

I really don't think it's that much different than putting a 32 shell on a model A, a 34 ford grille on a 34 mopar, a Desoto grille in a Merc. Just someones idea of a better looking nose.

....and olds (or hemi) valve covers on an SBC is just flat wrong.

... I'd put it on ebay with Rat rod in the title. you'll get a bidding war from 5 guys who want to jump in on the latest trend and sell it for 5 times what it is worth. then you can take that money and buy a normal grille for your own car

i had an Oliver grill shell hanging on the wall in my garage when i sold my 39 chevy "rat rod" the guy that bought it saw the grill and just had to have it, i didnt want to sell it but when his offer reached $400 i gladly parted with it. like stated earlier, its all what someone is willing to pay for it.

You guys are funny. Opinions are like assholes and we all have one. I love tractor shells. I've got a 35 International Farmall restored and hanging on a wall.

My other shells are on my actual tractors. I say do what you like, until I catch you cutting up a tractor.........then I'll shove your tools up your ass.:D

Damn Brandy, that's a nice tractor.
    - Wouldn't dream of cutting one up, especially with a threat like that!

    Does the grill say "GOD"?

    Nope. That's a Ford "600".

IMHO most tractor shells look a heck of a lot better on the tractor they came on, but whatever makes the builder happy...:)

  29. Here is the one i have. It fits really well. The body lines line up and im working on a hood for it to tie it together.
