a sub to trj a socal shirt and forgiveness on the last coker order. she got a 63 fairlane wagon and a mp3 player
I had a great Christmas and made out like the Frito bandito...I got a visor for my '48 with just as much patina as the truck, a bunch of models and Hotwheels of the 'Cars' cars and other hot rods, one of those handy dandy new automatic battery operated crescent wrenches, smelly girly perfumes and lotions, and an awesome Polo blazer and "The Devil Wears Prada" DVD (to satisfy my fashion addictions). (Unfortunately Santa did not come through with a solution to my Nailhead exhaust issues so I'm still looking for some center dump manifolds or headers that will fit.) But as said before, the best part was all of my family being together!
I got a 3 speed tranny out of a 1938 dodge sedan, "hot rod and custom chronicles" book, Transformers 20th anniversary etd DVD, Mug from D&D, Gift card to Sears, Wanda Jackson CD and a shirt.
Nice house. We're saving for one as well so Christmas was small time this year - but that is cool with me. My Wife got me a TRJ subscription and whichever back issue is in the picture here. I in no way said that I even wanted this - apparently she snooped around the HAMB and internet and thought that I might like it!! And told me that If I like it she'll re-new it every year for me!! Gotta Love it - I was shocked My wife's birthday is on 12/25 too - so I got that as well
How cool is this present?! http://www.amazon.com/Legend-Johnny..._bbs_sr_2/105-3441749-1261265?ie=UTF8&s=music
For me a real luxury...............a Snap on ratchet, as a matter of fact, the super duper long handled 3/8 drive flex head model. I dont use these tools for a living, so.........my tool box doesnt house a lot of snap on tools. The little thing next to it is a Craftsman 3/8 drive finger ratchet. Heres the other neat gift.................. http://www.amazon.com/Jazz-Summers-Day-Bert-Stern/dp/B00003OSU4/sr=1-1/qid=1167163332/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-0292346-0734466?ie=UTF8&s=dvd I cant recommend this enough. There are some quick shots of some cool cars, some great boats of the era, and late 50s style........but its the live performances that are spine chilling, from the opening to close, this is jazz!..........except for Chuck Berrys performance of Sweet Little Sixteen, I saw Chuck Berry in 1973 at the Miami Jai-Lai Fronton, nothing compared to this performance. And then Louis Armstrong.......Hes a towering Giant no one has been able to duplicate. Well worth the price of entry.
i got 4 shirts from so cal, 2 pairs of 501's, new vans, and a dell 17 inch lcd tv for the bedroom. i guess that means no more passing out on the couch!
Got a set of Durablock sanding blocks. Then I had to explain how they work, my wife thought those did the sanding. Also got $50 cash from the inlaws. I think that's going to an Alliance Membership.
my wife bought me a weiand drag star c-16 six deuce intake....now i need 6 carbs...............can't wait to put it on my coupe............rooster
dad gave me a handful of his old hand tools, a couple cool old spot-lights, and a bunch of vintage literature including a 1939 snap-on catalog. oh yeah, and today and I got a nice promotion at work, senior project manager (I work for a very busy yacht outfitter), which means $2-$3 more an hour, so not too bad I would say
santa (really my girlfriend) got me a big ol' tool box from stanley..the kind that's really a draw/shelf thingy that came with tools..it's bitchin! creepy
