Looks good. What are you going to do about lowering the front? Or are you going for an extreme taildragger stance
Hmm... that's a good idea for tucking the gas tank. I've been thinking about how to do it on my '54 and I like your way much better than what I was thinking. Is that top pic with the front end completely aired out? If so, I might have to figure on dropped spindles too. Good stuff!
Well I really SHOULD do the interior, but here is the list of what I want to do: Grille Teeth Headlamp Eyebrows Taillights in the bumper guards Interior I still have to put the inner fenders back in and build a tunnel though. Oh and a trunk floor. That will hopefully go quick though. But first, I am going to drive it for a few days to make sure there are no bugs to work out of the notch.
Good luck man! it looks real good i here you about running in to problems im steal working on the trunk floors and the tunnel on my 54.
Oh, yes. I like this very much. What colors are you contemplating when the body work is done. For some reason Candy Green with small flake comes to mind.
both of your cars look great, i worked on my 49 tonight, and mocked up the motor and tranny so i can make some mounts. its incouraging to see some rolling
Looks good, I like how low the frame looks in that attached pic. By the way, where did you get the cone center caps for your wheels?
I would like to chop it, but I dont think I have the skill to pull it off right. And all the quotes I have gotten are arround $6k.
WOW! 6k start saving i think it is worth it as long as they do a good job it is alot of work from what i have seen.
Oh its definatly worth it. But I have a kid on the way, and I need to remodel the house before that. Maybe afterwards, but it depends on how my business is.
