Hey every one, first off merry xmas to all you guys and gals,

I need some help here finding a steering wheel for my kustom sled, she is a 54 desoto that has being fully customised, her name is Jaded Angel and she will be wearing a 50s styled Gene Winifield styled green fade away paint job in the next few months,
the dash is now being customised at present but i only have my stock 54 desoto steering wheel, looks really boring, i would like to custom make one from green acrylic, the knobs will be custom made clear green acrylic but im worried the steerign wheel wont be legal or safe?? does any one have any suggestion on what steering wheel i should be looking out for, ie early 60s dodge etc,
i would like some thing with alot of chrome or just different but elaborate looking??

How about one of those deep dish late 50's early 60's Olds steering wheels.

How nice is the stock '54 wheel? If it's decent, I'll buy it from you.

That first pic is a '60 Dodge accessory wheel. I have one of those that I'd trade for the '54 wheel, but I don't have a horn button and it would need to be recast.

Theres a guy in florida who will make you any kind of acrylic steering wheel. He says there legal and safe. The name of his company is Billet and Acrylic fantasies. He made me some aluminum pieces for my race car. Very talented person.
