Not traditional, but I thought you custom fabricator guys might get a kick outa this. Gotta admire the details. Kinda Wild Wild West meets Victorian England. http://www.blackheadsmc.com/html/trp/chopp.html
Ummm, errrr, OK. Notice there are no pictures of the guy actually RIDING it, might as well be a piece of furniture.
I was thinking something from a Dr. Seuess book. That guy can probably jungle and carries an umbrella around all the time. Nice details on the engine though.
i ****in LOVE It. i can't imagine i would be comfortable or feel safe actually riding it on the street but from an artistic stand point it is BEAUTIFUL!! it's more a sculpture you would have on display on a pedestal some place than something you would ride down to the bar but i dig it. and the craftsmanship looks to be incredible.
That is funny.ROFLMAO Seriously though, that is out there, waaaaayyyy out there. 2 questions though, 1) What's with the duct tape? 2) After all that detail why use that cheasy throttle cable connector? Von Dutch would love the eyeball.
I think the detail work is badd *** but deffinitely not rideable, and to me that defeats the purpose. It looks like he stole those white tires off of some kids sears bicycle. I like the br*** too, very cool, but I think polished copper would have been a nicer touch.
That neat looking gismo may go one step past art for the sake of art. And the look at me factor is too big to be by chance. I am guessing that the builder/ owner may have some sort of Wonka/ Suess fetish. Hide your kids.
This is definitely a love it or hate it kind of bike - I'm leaning toward the love it though. It's incredible workmanship & attention to detail - I like it for what it is, although I probably wouldn't ride it...

I dig it, but you HAVE to wear a hat like that if you're going to ride it... Defintely some neat details!
AND a coat with some tails and some funky gl***es and a scraggly weird beard/goatee and some hip boots and...
When I saw they guy, I kind of thought "T-rex" I like the bike though, in an artsy sort of way. Bang a gong!
I like it...in a wierd sort of way...the shapes are beautiful and flow great, hate the wheels and the tires are so-so....it's cool to see something with a new twist on a chopper, and from an art prospective it's very cool...from a riders perspective....uhhh you wouldn't catch me on it! (of course it looks like my 300 pound *** would break something!)
I gotta say I'm a little confused on how I can love it and hate it all at the same time. My first impression of the guy was a cross between Ozzy Ozbourn and Willy Wonka. Kind of creepy
And we only THOUGHT we'd seen it all. It is a real work of art. If it's just a piece of furniture, I'd have it in MY living room. Schweeeet...........
The bike was in Sturgis at the AMDA show, it's a show only bike that started out as a 741 military bike made by Indian during WWII, the guy is from Finland and I think he was a blacksmith. He has won a lot of shows with this rolling art form, lots of craftmanship but no "cl***" this is what the custom bike world is like nowdays. you guys are on the right track with your rods and I hope it stays that way and I hope the TV shows don't mess it up like it did for bikes. Here are some of the bikes I build. Mark.
