I got some gift cards for Xmas and was wondering if I can find a Quality Label Maker.I have boxes, cans, drawers and ***ortments in the garage that I can never find. I would like the put bright, colorful ,easy to read ,large print, old man friendly labels on them .Has anyone found a label maker thats superb ? I think they need to be pretty durable also. How about it ,any ideas? Thanks
I've got a Brother P-Touch that came from an office supply store and I really like it. It prints the labels thermally, so they're pretty durable. You can get different color tapes and it will print some pretty big font sizes. The tapes last a pretty long time, too.
I have a Casio KL-7200 thermal label printer that is like the Brother listed above. We use several at the hospital where I work and the labels stay stuck when you want them to, but will remove without too much effort. I use mine on plastic, metal and painted surfaces. The only problem is that it takes a while to get used to peeling the backing off the label.
Save yourself a bunch of cash and get labels for your PC's printer. I use those handheld label makers at work, and they are nice.
