Ive got a opertuninty to buy a bussiness and wondering if you guys could help me place a cash value on my 28 sedan. Its been featured in hop up # 7 pages 32-35. Nothing on the car is newer than 1953 other than the dist & electric fan, Easy item to correct. Its all real aged parts not faktina like alot of the hot rods out there on the market. It runs and drives very well. Im not looking for being talked out of it. I know its a hard decision, It has sentimental meaning to me but my dad would have loved for me to have the bussiness and would be all for it.. The bussiness has been around since 1952 and is a once in a lifetime chance..THANKS IN ADVANCE JOHN
If any of you guys want probably one of the baddest traditional sedans I know this is the car and it is very fast and reliable.
my opinion is that cars can be replaced, but GOOD oportunities are few & far between. when i was drag racing i spent all my money racing & missed out on 5 good real estate deals that i had the cash in hand to put down. i dont need to tell you what happened to cal real estate in the last 10 years. i would be retired right now if i had made the right decision.
Thanks so far for the compliments and advice. I need to make a decision this week on this or my oppertunity will be gone. I can come up with most of the money with out selling but fall a bit short....JOHN
How about doing 5 minutes worth of research on ebay to find out what its worth instead of complaining we haven't done it for you?
Don't know much about your car to give ya figure. Once I told a guy at work that he would probably not get what he wanted for his factory big block camaro, boy was I wrong. It sold the first day in the trader magazine. Car looks cool. Things seem to go for more money out that way than this area. It is always hard to say by just looking at pics.
Wasnt complaining, Didnt want ebay price, I wanted Help and oppinions from peaple that have been here longer, Than you and wouldnt mind helping a friend out
I have seen cars like that(well not exactly like that) around here go for 20+ thousand....A freind of mine sold a glass 30 "A" coupe car for 24K and it had no interior
i believe 20+ is where to shoot from also. but what do i know. everyone knows you cant build that car from scratch for that. it will have to be bought by someone who knows trad. rods problobly. good luck and remember " theres an ass for every seat! " good luck!
If I had it I'd sell it just to be able to afford to move futher away from this Guy! I'm sure you'll get a fair price for it out here..Looks to be a nice, well preserved machine.Best of luck...
Heres some pics of the Sedan......sorry I'm such a crappy photographer. Are you bringing it to Turlock?
why not list it in the for sale forum on this web site with a high ball price and OBO and see what response you get. i know several folks that read the for sale section all the time and the other forums on rare occasion!
Nice is an understatement, its as smooth as a new babies butt. John 20K + would be my guess and I'm so tight I squeek. Luck on your sale bro.
I think this is the first time ever when someone doesn't have a number in the back of their head. Any number.
I do have figures in my head just wanted some oppinions from my peers. It will be listed in that forum later tonight most likely...JOHN
