I have posted a few times before but never took the time to post up here. I am in to all this internal combustion. I've had a built and loaded Jeep, I currently drive a mildly modified import without a coffee can for an exhaust, I have a few bikes, Harley dresser, Honda CBR, and I have had ATVs since I was 14. Basically I am addicted to fuel. My Latest project is a ground up build based on a 28-29 ford tudor Junkyard 350, 5 speed trans from an 01 s10, ford 9" out of a 64 Fairlane, wheels from a 98 mustang cobra. Triangulated 4 link rear with tci coilovers The front suspension is the most expensive single piece on the car. Found a tci ifs for $2400. Not traditional I know, but I am kind of a performance oriented guy. Now before anyone tells me I dont belong here, hear me out, because I feel like what I am doing is the opitome of traditional hot rodding. I am taking a bunch of parts that I have at my disposal, new and used, and building a performace oriented car for myself. The body will be handmade by me, as will the frame and rest of the fabbing, very little of this car will be, "off the shelf" Oh, and the last thing about me, I can be long winded...
WELCOME!!! I hear what you're saying with the front susp.I started to build a high dollar "modern rod",but before I got too far I found"hamb style" cars far more appealing, but I have an IFS (tci)already.Hopefully I don't get lynched by some of the members,I just want to have fun with an old car & didn't like the parallel leaf, mech brake frt end in my chevy
