Here are a few of my father and my cars. Dad's is the white '67 Comet 202 and mine is the red '66 Fairlane. Most of these photos were taken at Beaver Springs. Both cars run mid 9s with FE power!

I'm sorry to hear the '63 on back cut off but I understand why. I'm not a big fan of the "pony" cars either. Would you consider a Nostalgia Super Stock class? The rules for this would prevent the "pony" cars. I'd like to run with you guys. I'll be at Beaver Springs this summer for the York US 30 NSS Nats. and Flashback Friday. NSS cars are the headliners at both events.

Ha.....The Beaver is in the "Boonies"..closest motel is like 20 miles away,in Sellensgrove I think. I always camp..it can get VERY chilly there in September!! Bring some firewood and some beer. If you smoke..they don't sell ciggs either.
If you are going to be open to a Nostalgia Super Stock Car I'd be interested. I generally run with Troubelmaker 427 & his Dad. However I won't make Flashback Friday which is a cool event. Thier Fords are tough and put on a show. The "local crowd" loves the Nostalgia Super Stockers & cars....and so does Beaver Bob. My Damn Ole Pontiac/Arapaho only ran mid 11's but I plan to step it up by September to low 10's with 505 motor. I plan to get a reserved spot for next season at the Beaver. I love that "Old" track...

PS: PHIL(Gas Tires & Oil) There's always room at my trailer for a few beers and yakin'...the door is always open for anyone who loves old cars.

Yeah...shooting for low 10's..no 9's for me. Jack Gaydosh keeps asking how much horse power do I want...750,850, or more . My standard reply is..you mean torque, don't you ?? The problem is I know he's not kidding! Jack is Da Man..If it should surprise me and run a 9 number...I'll back it down...car will NOT certify for nines..
