Steve, do you have the 32 3W that you use as your avitar?

For everyone who wants more pictures, I have lots of old slides that I will have to look through when I get a chance. I know that I have a lot of old hotrod pictures which are not the main theme of this post started by 56Kustom. I have to say that if it has four wheels, and is a car, I probably took a picture of it. My pictures are mostly from the 60s though, except a few that are mixed in on my web page. http://http://www.bslusa.com/cars/index.htm

Yes I'm in the process of building right now. In the picture it looks like it's all together but we just hung all the parts on it and rolled it out in the light to look at it. Steve:D

I was kidding you this morning. It is not a picture of my car. I am building a 32 3 window but it is gl*** body which I bought from New Age Motorsports in Conn. which I put on a TCI ch***is.

    Steve,

That's ok, my avitar is a picture of a car that I bought in the 60s and set up with a 55 Olds and dual range ******. I sold it before I ever drove it. Now I have another 55 Olds engine and dual range ****** that I thought that I would use but may sell for what I have into it.

There is a 34 3W that I first saw at a show at Ocean Spray a couple of years ago. It was in prime with steel wheels, wide whites and all the 50s style trim. It took a while before I realized that it was gl***. Then, if you like the smooth style, I say use gl*** and keep the steel cars for the more original look.

How is your TCI ch***is set up?

I have a 34 TCI stage III for my 34 and I bought it with TCI independent front and a 9" rear with 4 bar. It has the chrome and stainless package and stainless brake lines with GM disc brakes up front. I also had it C notched in the rear and the rear cross member raised one inch. It is set up for a sbc and 700r4 ******.

I am looking to sell it and buy a traditional ch***is. It isn't ***embled and all the parts are still crated. I want to go to a traditional ch***is instead with I-beam up front. I talked with Matt at New England Carriage and he is going to try to sell it for me and build a new one.

My ch***is has a straight axle front with a 4 bar, and a richmond quick change rear with a 4 bar.
I have a blown and injected 427 chev. motor with a richmond 5 speed behind it.
The body has a lot of original stuff such as crank out windshield, working cowl vent, outside door and trunk handles, outside door hinges, louvered trunk lid. And it is going to be a full fendered car.

    John:
Yes I did get the body on Oct.23 and if you teach me how I would love to put some pictures of it on here. See you in Boston at the show.

How long has he had it? That car belonged to John Otis who now lives somewhere in Texas.

    Steve,

It sounds like a real nice ride, and fast too.

Hate to see this one die!

  14. I recognized a couple of the cars. The ***ian Red Deuce roadster with the Olds hubcaps is Norm Wallace's car(once owned by my cousin and now by Larry Hook),the chopped white 51 Merc with the 55 Ford grille belonged to Jimmy Prince from Malden M***achusetts.I think one of the Deuce trucks in there was Paul Bourque's from Saugus M***.(the one with the stacks). The chopped 40 standard coupe I think was Hymie's(can't remember his last name)from Malden and that 34 cabriolet could possibly have been the McKiel brothers from Melrose. It had a nailhead Buick in it later on.I think they still own it.

John just sent me some pics of the blue sedan. He took the 15's off and put 16's on.

Looks like it did in 63, a real cool hot rod. I'm sure that John enjoys it a lot.

I believe the '32 was built and raced by Charlie Hiller out of Mattapoisett. It's now owned locally here by Ted Lay**** and has a blown 392 in it. He takes it to some of the local events once in a while.
I'll throw a picture of it up here when I get home.

Still trying to get Adventure Car Hop pics. Also any other drive ins.

  21. I think you got pictures there of my '57 Belair 4 door hardtop.
It was white with a blue interior with power widows and a rear mounted power antenna.
The neat thing about it was the engine.
It was a fuely 283 backed by a hurst shifted 3 speed box.
It was very unique even for that time.
In the picture shown the interior looks more updated than when I owned it.
I used to run some Dual 90's recapped cheater slicks on the rear. Those triple stripe tires gave it a nice look.
I wonder what year that photo was snapped?
I had the car untill 1967 when I turned it in for a 58 Corvette heads up.
