Houston HAMB Cruze Night is always the first Sunday of the month.

Location: Jimmy's Place Ice House on Whit Oak Dr. in the Heights
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Duration: As long as it takes
At***ude: Cool, of course.
Attire: Clean OK, but greasy prefered...for goodness sakes at least put some grease in your hair.
Talking Points:
1) Hot Rod Resolutions for 2007
2) 2006 year end review
3) Better to grind off the manufacturers name from an intake and paint to match block, or leave it alone?

All are invited. Would love to see your ride, but show up even if you can't bring one...I have big plans to bolt my ride back together in time to drive here to the Cruze this Sunday.

I just cant go anywhere without my car...like the day i went to Los Cochinos X-mas party I pulled up around 7 o'clock with freshly sprayed primer spots..and after the party it started acting up , leaking oil and running ****py... so if i can get my car running smooth I'll be there

Eddie PMed me and says he will be making it to our Cruze night this Sunday.

 

I try and make it???? If I do I'll bring some pictures of my 283 build. One question. Is their a wireless connection available at Jimmy's?

 

The barmaid said they are close enough to 6th St. Icehouse to pick up a signal.

 

Cool! I want to see those pictures. Now that I'm really getting into putting the top end of my 283 together, I'm wanting to know more and more about putting motors together. I will probably buy a spare motor and build the whole thing up from parts at some point in the future.

I'm not 100% but my gut instinct is that there is no wireless at Jimmy's...

I might have to depend on that being good enough. Not sure if I can get an air card from work.

 

Not to discourage anyone from showing up but Lucky's Fun Run is this Sunday in College Station. Last year it was an excellent turnout with a couple of hundred cars there and plenty of early iron.

If the weather is good I am in for Jimmys. Where at on White Oak is it? Near 6th street? White Oak turns into 6th street, doesn't it? Right at Heights Blvd.?

Jimmy's is near the corner of White Oak and Studamount, across the street and down from Fitzgeralds.

If you took montrose into the Heights and took a left at the first street (White Oak) it would be on your left hand side just past the first side street on your left.
