I posted a wanted ad too, but thought maybe a few of you knew of some edsel resources that might not scan the wanted ads. Looking for a few parts from a '58. PM me or post here, thanks in advance
not sure what year it was but i was at Memory Lane today in wilmington and there was an Edsel in there that looked pretty complete, i dont know what parts you need but you might want to check it out. http://www.oldautoparts.com/
There is (was now?) a 4-door Ranger in the Sun Valley Pick Your Part on New Year's Day (link to post). I've got some of a 59 grill I'd sell. Thanks, Kurt
www.bigmauto.com John's website kinda sucks, but the last time I was out there he had hella (58) edsels- (and a few 59's and 1 60, it was a 4-dr)
what do you need?..I have a 59 4dr. parts car and here recently a guy gave me a 58 parts car, he told me it was sitting on its brake drums, so I take the wheels off my 59 and go over there, nope, don't fit. Edsel guys are telling me 58s have their own bolt pattern..damn, where to find 58 Edsel wheels?....rixrex
i got one. and the others are on the car in the junk yard i believe.(that i sent the car to after i parted it out.) they are 5 on 5. early 50s pontiac wheels fit them. most edsels sat on lincoln frames. but it really depends on what model you have.
You may want to call Leroy "The Edsel King"Walker. He has 229 Edsels. He lives in Beulah ND,(701)873-4489.Hope this helps you.
Been to Leroys, if he doesn't have it you don't need it. I was there a few years ago and he claimed (I believed it) he had the largest collection of Edsels in the world.
