At first i was kinda not wanting to but now I am so glad I decided to take on a previously restored original car. It has really opened up an area that you just dont know exist or lets say you hope it dont exist when you find the deam car you have been wanting that has that pretty gloss black you have always wanted for Saturday cruising. Well after about a month of really tearing into this Coupe, The gremlins have really come out. What started out as a nice looking original 30-31 Coupe has turned out to be a cover up by the previous owner. Lots of corners cut and places covered up with paint that should have never have been. Nothing bad at all but when the owner thought it was a great body " which it still is, and you got to explain what happened it gets old. Anyhow it is now on the road to beating this thing called "rust" once and for all. Heres some pics, it will be getting fixed.

Bag up all that rust and scale, put it in a box with some spray adhesive and sell it on e-bay as a "instant patina kit"!

Ya, It is interesting to look at the repairs that others made, you can almost tell what year the repairs were by the typ of repair! On my 51 club coup I can see repairs from the sixtys(lead) and from the late seventys(fibergl*** and BONDO!) I'm going to put steel back in it!!!!....Roach.
