Thanks for the comments! Tire sizes are: 235x70x15 in back
    215x70x15 in the front
    Hope this helps.

  9. I'm surprised that dash insert is very close to my 54. I like those large turn indicators. I repainted mine with little red hands giving the finger with the thumbs pointing the direction, the rest is blacked out. just have to much time on my hands I guess. you did a great job with the patina, It almost looks like real rust. just fucking with you! GMC's are several steps above chevys in the cool factor and chrome. I need to find a set of those head light bezels for my 57 chev farm truck to off set the rust er I mean patina (where did that word come from?)

Thanks! i always tell people that I rented in to haul some Car Parts, but I just never returned the truck when I was done with it! Usually brings on a smile or two.

  13. Very cool. We need to get our trucks together.

What are your plans with your truck? Fix-er up or like me....drive it? Looks real good now to me. Have you had it very long? Have you lowered the front end a little?

  17. Just drive it. Workin on a 283. Front is lowered more than a little..cut 2 coils. Eventually want discs etc. Patina stays.

My wife Posted a few more Pics of my truck I hope ya'll don't mind very much! I don't know how to Post Pics. (She is smarter than me anyway). I thought that everyone might get a kick out of it! Do ya'll like my "AIR BAG" on the Rear View Mirror? I have tried real hard to have all the Modern Safety Features of today's cars and truck's!
    Thanks for ya'll's patience!!!

Is that a pic of your security system in the center of the wheel?....or was that guy just making a home out of your spare tire?

Yes, you guessed it! That is my Security System for my ole truck! it seems to work very well so far too. However, sometimes I forget it is there and it scares me pretty bad at times.
