well the house is getting a little closer to looking like a house since it burned down in june. still not in it yet but i thought i would like a couple really bad ass tiki heads about 4'-5' tall to put on the back deck. any body here carve them, or have any info on a good deal. i have searched the net and have a few starts but would like to help a hamb brother out if any body was selling them. any ideas would be cool.
Don, I ordered a "Speed Tiki" from you a few months back. #206 is very happy in his new home. Are you planning to promote any more designs? Let me know. Just ordered the Legends of Hawaii series from Tiki Farm... still waiting...

I wish I would have known this about a week ago, I just got back from Hawaii and I bought a few (like 10) authentic tiki carvings ranging in sizes from 5" to about 3'. It was cool as these guys were set up right in the middle of a trading center and you could watch them carve it in front of you. I have the one carvers card if you would like his contact info. I can send you some pics of some of the ones I bought if you are interested. Just PM me if you want.

Sounds like the International Market Place on Kalakau Ave. I especially like the Easter Island "Aku" heads they do. Those guys are cool as hell, but freight is a killer.
Yea same place. They were all very nice people and it was cool to see them carve away. I know what you mean about freight, I ended up getting another bag just for my tiki purchases and used it for my carry on....it weighed about 60 lbs!!
