I wanted to offer my first Airbrush's to a younger hamber that wants to start out or learn/ play with airbrushing. The offer is this... $10 to Ryan. Not a big amount because I feel Ryans doing well with auctions and I'm keeping it in the affordable range. That way its a WIN WIN for both the hamber and Ryan. The skinny... The Guns go to a hamber under the age of 25 with more than 500 posts. COOL? First guy that fits this criteria and wants the guns they're yours. One gun is "mint"... the other needs a new needle and fluid tip. otherwise it too is "mint" I have two hoses and the little wrench that goes with it... As you can see the guns are in pristine condition, I've kept them super clean... try not to let paint dry in these things... TRUST ME. The complete gun has a #3 tip and needle that works great for spraying automotive paints etc... You can order needles and tips from Paasche. They are the VLS models, they have a dual action trigger, Push down for air, pull back for paint. They also include "quick connect" connections for the guns. The hoses do not have the quick connect so you would need to buy new hoses for the connections BUT... the quick connects make life easy with these things... trust me. They treated me well. I hope they'll go to good use.
Master TUCK, I'm Under 500 and have over 25 posts so does that mean i get um. Remember, i'm your favorite UNCLE and excuse my dislexia.
Lanny do you have an extra needle and tip to throw in here... if figured with all the years painting HOKolor and doing LACE PAINTING you might have some extra parts haha... I was gonna have a reg. auction but figured a kid could benifit from this I know your still a kid at heart... but you already know how to lay down some bitchin paint SUMMERS COMING think I could borrow that AC COBRA for prom... wait a min...
I think this will make around 580 posts or so for me and I'm 19, does that fit the bill? I sure hope so
I need to go to bed now... haha.. Yeah it does fit the bill. If you want em they're yours, send ryan $10 and ill ship the guns to you. I'll check the "gift" on the customs card... cool?
Thanks man, sounds cool to me, I really appericiate it. I have been wanting to get some air brushes for a long time now. I don't suppose you have an address where I can send Ryan the cash?
Tuck...there's some good Karma comin' your way! That's close to a couple hundred $'s LDC427 won't have to spend...even with buying a new tip and needle!
Dang Tuck....VERY cool of you. I wish I was under 25. DAMN 5 years too late. I could use a few extra ones.... Plus for just $10 ....holy moly that is the smokinest deal ever. Oh well....I need to try out some Iwatas anyhow......
Ok... I had to turn down the heat in the shop so after this im really gonna go to bed... damn it gets late so fast??? Heres what I graduated to... The Iwata's ... I LOVE IWATA... they're hot little mama citas' I started with a HPC (pictured on top) I believe that dan picasso uses this same model?? They work great for illustration, this thing will pull a super fine line! BUT for cars and helmets I use the one on the bottom, multiple guns for t shirts or a helmet... its a HP-BCS and if anyone were going to buy a airbrush this is what I would tell u to buy!!! This will also pull a super "fine" line... to a two inch swath OK im gonna go pass out now. Glad your excited deucecoupe- you get good with that passche and you'll be an expert with an Iwata...

haha! Daign on a Diamondback before they sold out to HUFFY. Thats traditional... not O/T I was thinking all this airbrush shiiite with some how to use and cleaning would make a good TECH. (next tech week) There are some wierd tricks with back flushing to really get the guns clean- and those tips in the Iwata, one wrong move and they're toast! Wait till i get my real cam fixed... I had to use the "BAT PHONE" for these pictures.
Tuck...How are the Iwatas for durability? I'm fairly hard on my Paasche (a little lazy on the cleaning, so I have to disassemble it about every other time. ). I would be using one like the second one in the pic, since i just do shirts and signs and flame type stuff. Are they easy to take apart? Is there smaller paint cups/containers than the one pictured? Dan
Barnett they are really easy to clean, just back flush with your finger... but the needles are easily damaged... once you destroy a couple you get the hang of how to handle them. I have smaller containers, ill take pics in the shop and post later today with more info COOL? They make everything you do in the Passche 10 times better... Heres a kandy test panel I just got done spraying with said air brush and a SHARPE spray gun. This is #5 test layout, color, HOK flake base and kandys... its funny and seems like a waste to go throught all the work to layout flames on panels for testing but when your flameing a $40k pickup you better have the shit down. TEST PANELS TEST PANELS TEST PANELS I took this lame pic with the bat phone... I kinda rush these panels thru the process... but in reality there really is no rushing this shit. Process... I've learned its like anything in design be it Graphic, Industrial, you name it... its all about Process.
I've dropped mine several times as well.. mared my air cap but other than that dude... i think you could drive over them with a tractor... another shot... haha. . clear still in the air- thats the "spare" hood for the galaxie. what a waste of flames....
That's very generous of you, Jeff. the Paasche's a good learnng tool. I still have a Paasche AB, the model with the little turbine, sounds like a dentist's drill. Iwatas are nearly bombproof IF you manage to keep the needle free of damage. I've had some luck restoring bent needles using a sharpening stone and finger pressure to straighten 'em but generally they end up doing air-nozzle cleaning duty...speaking of which, the air nozzles are expensive and ultra-fragile. once they crack or flare at the end it's Good Night Irene. I've been using the same Iwata HP-C for about 12 or 15 years. I've worn the chrome off some of the surface but otherwise it still works A-number-One. it's like part of my hand now. again Tuck, really nice move. let's keep that good old outdated, outmoded, totally anachronistic technology in use! for the kids.
