Does anyone make an electronic ignition conversion for the 42-48 style front mount distibutor ? I have seen that pertronics make a kit for the old 8N ford tractor, but can't seem to find anything for the V8.

    Thanks in advance

I recommend just buying the whole Mallory Unilite crab distributor- Works great, and you can paint the body black if it looks to billet-ish to you.

There is a guy that converts the old dizzy's to electronic, but you have to send it to him and wait- It also costs quite a bit.

You may also want to try Remund Ignitions (Mickey Remund) - Rebuilds & sells early V8 distributors and coils (stock or electronic)
