hines shoebox is coming to midwest

I just purchased the Bill Hines chopped shoebox from fellow HAMB member Buzz Bomb. He had to unfortunately sell her. I am very excited and had been looking for a kustom for a while. I am still building my hemi powered 30 sedan but wanted somethinng to drive, projects going slow. I am excited to get her home and drive the wheels off. I have plans for a possible gloss wet black paint job, other than that drive and enjoy. I also just wanted to thank Buzz Bomb, great guy and prayers go out to him and his family.

i have loved that car since the first time i saw it...glad to see someone else feels the same way and appreciates the form of it "as is" and doesn't wanna change it...congrats to you and hopefully this has helped buzz bomb with his problems in the recent weeks

Thanks everyone I am very excited and it is even better that it came from a fellow HAMB member. I will keep everyone updated. Ben D is shipping it for me later this month. I also just wanted to thank Buzz Bomb again. I know his next car will be killer.

Love the car, definitely my favorite chopped shoebox. Buzz Bomb, I remember how excited you were when you got it, I'm sorry about the difficulties that made you need to sell it. Hope everything is better SOON.

GOOD SCORE! Even if joe blow did the work it is a beautifull CL***IC example of a timeless custom.

 

man, that is baaad. i have seen the car before, but didnt know it was a Hines custom. congrats on a killer ride....your only a few hours from here, maybe i'll get to see it in person someday

 

Loved it since the first time I saw it. Good to see a HAMBer got it,not some dumb*** who would "Billet" the thing. Hope you cherish it. Black would be a compliment to it. Enjoy. Post pics when you paint it.

 

I'm a huge fan of Bill Hines and that is one Kool Kustom. I"m a kustom nut
and if I had the shoebox, I would forget about my other project that I was
working on. What was your other project?? See I already forgot. Ha, ha..
Kongrats with the recent purchase and I cannot wait to see it in person someday.
