Atlanta GA area swap meet at AMS Sat/13!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BigMikeC, Dec 5, 2006.

  1. I like that, a CRANK addict   . A real gear head ;).

  2. Sounds like an average weekend in the SFCC garage. :D

I've got my calendar marked for March 3-4. We'll put out the word (I say that like it means something  ).

We might have... dare I say it?... 4 or 5 SFCC cars there.

There is supposed to be a bunch of race shops selling off used inventory - [at the speedway meet]. Could be a good chance to score gofast goodies. We'll see...

  4. I'll be shopping for big brakes and plumbing.

    Who's gonna' make it?
I plan on it.As stated,we should pick a time and place to hook up.
Anyone know what entrances will be used at the track?
    Surely not all of them!

What say we meet up at the southeast corner of the of the garage area?
The southern most one ,if there are two rows of garages.

    I'll prolly' be sportin' my S.F.C.C shirt,as I am such a fashion *****!

  9. We should have all the SFCC fashion *****s there, I think.

I've never been to the track so I don't know the layout.

Is anybody interested in meeting in one spot and caravaning down together? Year One's parking lot, the Home Depot at Hamilton Mill, the rest area at 985/85?

I'm planning on heading down and handing out fliers.

I should be able to make this depending on the old lady says. It's only 15 minutes away. And a trip is also being planned for Moultrie. That one is my birthday weekend and Unknown Henson is playing the Star Bar that weekend. I should be busy and dizzy.

Nobody wants to invade a Waffle House and then caravan down together? It'd be a lot easier to arrive as a group and walk around together than trying to find eachother when we all arrive individually.

Boy Wonder and I will be in the Suburban.

There's a Waffle House right across the highway. The next closest one is about 10 min, south in north Griffin. Coming from Atlanta the closest one to AMS is in LoveJoy about 5 min north of AMS. And then there are two more farther north. One is right in the middle of Tara Blvd. The other is on northern most end of Tara Blvd. right before it runs into 75. Everyone of these is on 19-41. So it's a straight shot to AMS from any of them.

Damn it man, do you know your Waffle Houses or what? You could also say that there is probably one every other exit on I-75 from Tennessee to Fla. I'll be heading up from central Ga. and keep an eye out for any large groups of cool cars at he Waffle Houses on my way, maybe I'll see some of ya'll on Saturday.

I believe there is a Huddle House on Tara Blvd. It may have turned into a Mexican Restaraunt though. Waffle Houses pretty much rule the world over here.

I guess I need to go down 155 more often. How often do they have the cruise in at Summit? I live this close but I've never attended one. On an on topic note, I'll see ya'll on Sunday. At least that's the current plan.

Okay guys, lots of ideas, but no firm plans on meeting up tomorrow morning.
For anyone who wants to meet up, let's do it in the Summit parking lot. Someone pick a time.

  30. Swap opens at 9, it's going to have to be early... or we can do the usual SFCC thang and roll in as everyone else is leaving :D
