My guess is Speedway rams horn manifolds. Contemplating a set of those myself. By the way Larry, the motor looks great with the new colors.
Isn't it amazing that something as simple as a color change can totally change the look of the overall package? I like the new version much better!
It looks great. I cant see spending $455 for the powermaster when your running an electric fan though???
I was going to say the exact same thing..............but remembered I have a 354 Hemi planed for my Vicky. Looks great Larry!
It looks mucho better! I'm with Clark on the air cleaner though. Maybe if it were aluminum looking. PM me your addy, I'd be happy to turn you an aluminum spacer and mail it to ya.
I love green, it's my favorite color, but I thought the orange looked waaaaaaay better. I hate the painted valve covers........oh yeah, ditch the electric fan.
I like it Larry Keep it up buddy. I guess I am odd but I like the look of the unpainted freeze plugs. It gives it a nice detail to me.
Larry, that nees one of those Louvered corvette styled aircleaners put on it..... the chrome ones... that would look right on that motor...
Still aint a flathead. I prefer the orange over the green exspecially on a chevy. but either way my butt would be mighty fine driving it. I still say it needs multi carbs too, Rusty
i think I THINK! You ought to strip the whole car down and paint it ford green.ha ha hehe. Lets see that would be about 10,000 dollars. lookin good
Actually, we had to pull the motor to change the throwout bearing 'cause someone put the wrong one in and the clutch wouldn't work. So I figgered as long as its out, we might as well change things up a bit. We shitcanned the scattershield and went with an NOS Corvette big block bellhousing(also painted green), and added a Cal Custom finned oil pan(green) with scraped off fins like the valve covers. I was going for an understated elegance type of look that would flow with the rest of the car. The orange just didn't look right to me. At one point I actually thought about pullin' the flathead out of the Hambster and puttin' it in the coupe!
Who gives a crap about the bling under the hood, I want to see some bling in the interior - your shit eating grin when you get to drive it! Looks great!
The dark color does look much better on your car. I cringe at painting the Cal Custom covers but again it looks very good.
I agree with Fordman75. It would look better on a Ford, especially a MEL. But it does look cool I gotta admit.
now that it isnt chevy orange, i bet folks ask what it is, eh? i like the manifolds (whats the story on those?) details like the generator hurt, but make the difference. p.s. keep the brass freeze plugs.
VERY NICE...but with the polished seats and trunk... I think it needs some more shine under the hood. Looks good right now, but it needs something to make it just right.
