I kept hitting it through Google when I'd be off searching for specific problems or parts. I remember getting pissed off thinking "why does it keep sending me to that damn forum site?"

After a while it dawned on me... The HAMB knows stuff. :)

Then I get to watching the For Sale section and start noticing that coolest parts on the web kept popping up there and it was all over but the shoutin'.

I heard about at the Drive Invasion back in 2002 and Lurked around reading for a while. Before that I did not even know how to start up a computer, but when I figured it out I dug it. I finnaly joined the end of last year and got a new project 2 days later.

  7. I was on another site, can't even remember now which one, when a guy told me about the HAMB. He warned me that it was a rough bunch and one had to have thick skin, but once ya got initiated. it was a great site if you were into old cars and stuff. I am so glad I tried it. Been a HAMBone ever since

I was checking another site when the trailer queen bunch on that site started ragging on Denise The hotrodladycruiser for refering to the H.A.M.B and a function the HAMB was putting on. I checked this site and found it to be the place i looking for as it has parts for sale that are priced right. The TECH archive is also awsome, it has great articles and ideas. The Jolopy Journal has some great articles and i love the stories Ryan comes up with. This site if just for the humor and witt some of the people come up with is worth joining for . Keep up the good work.

Mr. George McDowell, the carnut himself. And I'm glad he did.

  11. I was looking for info on the RoundUp. Got into some site that had something to do w/ a show in Denison, TX. Not a very big show, had pics of all the cars. Maybe 70-85 cars. One shot was of some shoebox & in the background, on a fence, was a Jalopy Journal banner. You could barely make out what it said. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. Since then, I've been eatin' it up. Best place to be when it's nasty outside.
Everyone I've corresponded with has always been great to speak with. I've been telling everybody about it. Wears me out 'cause I don't want to go to bed, dammit. ha.

  12. Besides that, I had already seen a million HAMB shirts @ the RoundUp last year. ( which was my first ) I'm hooked. Thanks Ryan.
