Don't know what state you are in but some places allow you to apply for a builders ***le, you will need to have a vin on the body or frame and it usually has to be running and legal with all the lites, signals, etc.. In S.D. it is a h***le because you have to have the car inspected by one of the states bureaucrats and then they will issue you a ***le for a pretty reasonable fee.

do you have a number in the door jam or on the fire wall? I had a # on my cowl that I used and got a bonded ***le, that will/should turn into a regular ***le a year and a half (3year total).

Fill out your profile. Use of the cl***ifieds require City and State.

Then call your DMV. The rules are different everywhere.

    What state are you in?

:) Thanks to the great support here on HAMB, we got our F100 ***le and VIN for our truck at a fraction of the cost and trouble it would be to go through our state DOT.

I live in Illinois where it is almost impossible to get a builders ***le approved. I bought a car from Georgia that had not been ***led since the 50's and it came with a bill of sale because the state did not issue ***les for several years. That may be a creative loophole to your ***le problem.

    Ratso,
:D There is a ***LE and VIN tag for a 54 over on the FOR SALE side.

This is how I got my ***LE in PA. I simply purchased a TAG and PINK.
Our F100, which is mostly a bunch of mish-mash parts thrown together, is a legal (A ***le) 54 Ford.

    You can PM to: meteorg***er

Just wanted to help if I could.

I don't know what kind of truck you have or what year it is, but the picture is of a Ford. I have some paperwork for a 1953 Ford half ton truck from Minnesota. The paperwork is for the first year of the second series of Ford Trucks shown in your photo. Please contact me if you're interested.
