It's a 5 on 10.25" pcd. I did some measurements and got the trig wrong and had an adaptor plate drilled at 10". WRONG. Had to have it redone at 10.25". 5 on 5.5 is the standard early ford bolt pattern, sometimes called large ford bolt pattern. More modern fords are 5 on 4.5", sometimes referred to as small ford bolt pattern. Limey know-it-all.
Holy Frijoles...I had no idea. I guess that idea is out. I was gonna try and find a set of 36 wheels for my 36 of all things. Don't think I wanna run mechanical brakes.

[/ QUOTE ] For the front, you can put the 36-39 drums on 39-48 hydraulic brakes, and the rear you can either do the same or use adapter plates to run a later rearend. The circle track guys sell the adapters. The neat wheel is the 39 3/4 ton wheel. It is 16x5 and is not scalloped. 50Fraud has a set on his 36 3W. Neal
Well, I am prolly gonna run disc on the frt that is why I doubt I can run em. I like the look but don't know if sacrificing the stooping power is worth it....
Disc brakes and wide 5's are very common on stock cars. Should be no problem coming up with what you need used and cheap.
When you guys are saying stock cars are you talking about vintage stock cars or what? I didn't realize there were so many of these wheels available.
Here is some info on adapter plates from a question Eyeball asked. They still use them. And there are some pics and discussion of the wheels on 50fraud's 36 here. Hope that helps. Neal
Here's a bolt pattern reference page that ya might find handy. http://www.mrt-wheels.com/boltpatternref.html
