Local Cruise-Dairyette- Dallas, TX

Started the new year off rite going to a local cruise that happens every year on the 1st. It is Dallas (i believe) oldest original hamburger joints. There was well over 100 cars their streching into three extra parking lots adjacent to the Dairyette. Anyhow the 32 Sedan made its last show Dirty style and won a award that it had neve won before. The "Ladies Choice". Perfect reason to sell it. I has just gotten to soft. . No it was a cool award. We had a good time visiting with all the local friends. This show brings out alot of old timers since it has been going on for so many years. Lots of Hambers showed up which was cool. Anyhow, enoungh ramblin, I know you want to see pics.

At least I was doing a sorta shop crawl here in NC, and I learned a lot about upholstery in the process. Saw a couple cool 40's, too.

 

I wish I knew about it. Looks like fun.

That '39 Buick is the ***iest car I've seen in a long time, my absolute favorite car from the show.

Yes that car was total car restoration turned Hot Rod/ Custom. Tried to keep all the restoration/ original parts but updatedthe suspension and motor, Really nice and has a great stance. I believe it had been in the family for a long time.

 

You gonna sell it before I get to ride in it ???? Kinda like Dirty31 selling the truck before I got to ride in it.

 

dont they have cruise ins there regularly??
