Amazing as it may seem, alot of the (mainstream) magazines, are embracing the more traditional side of the sport/hobby/lifestyle lately.R&C last issue annouced the hiring of Aaron Kahan (Burbank Choppers).Street Rodder even has a blown flathead powered 36 ford coupe on the cover(without faux patina)!!! Imagine"TheWorlds Street Rodding Authority"promoting traditional rods!!!What is the world coming to!!!

Hey, there's enough room in the car to carry an extra Sharpie or two, or three.......

I just picked one of the issues up at Borders. Im really happy with it! Mr. Rizzo did a wonderfull job and he didn't even make me sound like a nerd!

Its pretty damn cool that my car is in the same issue as the Cole Foster built '36 and a Lil' John ****era car.

Thanks again everyone and especially my dad.

I picked up the latest and there was 1 copy left on the stand I go to. Great coverage and pics and hats off to you on your car Nick. Your ride makes the others look that much better in the issue. One of the best Street Rodders that I have seen in some time now. KNUX!

I guess you could have that opinion if you haven't read mainstream rod mags on a regular basis for longer than this place has been in existence. Don't always judge a magazine by its cover.

good for you and your father,
i saw it when i got my book and thought it was great. i know how much i enjoyed working with my son chris on his first project. you were two years younger than i was when i started my first car. mine never got finished but i did learn some things.
i liked it because you pulled off some very hard mods and did a great job finishing them. you and dad sure didn't take the easy way out and i also know how great you felt to look at it when it was done and you drove it around the block. it was nice sharing a book with kids like you and cole. you keep it up and someday some kid will think it's great sharing a book with you.

    Beatles man, Beatles!

Haha. Wouldn't Missouri be the Wild West? The best side is the east side! Come hang out with me and LilDeuce sometime.

Thanks Johnny! When are we gonna get together? How did the summer planning go on Saturday?

That sure does mean alot coming from you. Thanks for the good words. You are right! It feels so cool to have a car like this.....and driving it for the first time was one of the best experiences of my life. You gonna be at Detroit Autorama in march?

It went well, looks like we are heading to about the same places as last year. I'm not sure Deb and I will make all of'em...money you know.
We need to take about the Drags in August. I haven't figured out if Deb wants to make the Frogs again or not. Call me.
I need to get with Li'Deuce about my interior too.
