Does anyone have some information on these engines? Does anyone sell a rebuild kit and a cam for them?

Kanters probably sells rebuild parts. Hot rod goodies are almost imposible to find.

Both Edmunds and Edelbrock made dual intakes for them, but you almost never see them.

By the way. The origional "hot rod lincoln" song was a 12 cyl lincoln but since most people had never heard of a 12 cyl lincoln they changed the song to 8 cyl.

Alot of stuff at the lincoln-zephyr owners club site. Looks like they are serious about restoration, so be discrete.

Try www.austinrodshop.com if you need aluminum heads and an intake for a V12. They may also know where to look for a cam.

If you need a spare block I have one from a 48 Lincoln that showed 33,900 miles when I pulled it. Good luck.

Egge will sell you a rebuild kit for about $2,400. This includes a regrind of your cam. You may also call Chris at Boos Herrel in PA. His number is 215-965-8296. I know he had cams a couple of weeks ago he probabaly has rebuild kits.

If ya really get stuck, send me a PM in a couple of weeks. I may have a bunch of V12 parts if all goes well.

That's tough to say but here's my guess.

    Basic block, seized , missing parts $300 - $500

    Complete but seized $750 - $1,000

Free and complete (good luck finding one) $1,500 -$2,000

    Running but not rebuilt $ 3, 500 - $5,000

Picked up this 1945 motor with an xtra block for cheap,,prices are hard to figure on these as to some folks they're gold,,but to others the look at them like "good luck finding parts" you def. want to try and find a complete one

The Canadian Lincolns continued to use the V12 (US leftovers!) until 1952.

  26. Looking at the picture, memory tells me it was the 2 motors for 1 price, $1200.oo Boy, it looks like those outer cylinders would of been starving for fuel (compared with the inside cylnders) with that stock intake.I've always wondered where the hot rods with these motors were at... now thats a sight that would be worth creaming over...

You sure about that? Somebody that knows can please jump in but the 40s flathead 12 engines have the #1 reputation for being dogs. They shouldn't be confused with the earlier 12s that were huge and heavy but powerful. I believe there are some fundamental restrictions in the design that prevent helping them much... but again I could be wrong as I've never owned one myself.
