I'm done with it. I've just been driving it a lot and enjoying it. It still needs more bodywork and interior etc. etc.. The cleveland motor has lots of miles on it but is still running really strong.

"KIRK!" saw fit to give it the prestigious "Suede and Chrome" award at the last GG show in Scottsdale, if only I had bought that other serrape, it would have been over the top!!

Safari55 helped A BUNCH with the bodywork we did and looks pretty good with red oxide epoxy primer. My favorite Hispanic causing Panic, Ron Hernandez striped the piss out of it and it came out real nice.

    Well, here it is.....

This truck has the look. I really like it and wish I could find one to mess around with.

Jim, that truck is the balls! Spot-on stance, bitchin' wheels and tires, perfect blend of 60's hot rod/custom styling. Saw it up top at GG's... congrats.
Plus you gotta love that you can still lean on it and not stress about the paint... that's a bad little truck!

  22. Looks done enough to me. It drives n stops right?

The body looks plenty straight from where I sit and it sets real fine.

Drive it like you stole it my friend.

    Wait a minute.

Wasn't this truck green and silver (as in your avatar photo) at one point? Same truck?

I'm gonna say it ... I don't like the flat red. Sorry. It's not nearly as appropriate or exciting as the green version.

Agree with all the sentiments above , the most important one being that I too love the look of your truck Jeem , nice to see someone doing something truely fresh , superb effort and I hope you enjoy driving the wheels off it !

As for the "rant" bit , thats the reason I rarely comment on the look of someones car on here , the beauty of rods and customs is that they're all the end result of an individuals vision and dreams , who am I to say whether they are good or bad ?

Unless its a total horror of course , in which case they deserve all they get :p

Back on topic ; Jeem , nice one ;)

First, I like the truck, not normally one for wide whites on Americans but it works on this one, it sits close to perfect and the color is right. JEEM has an eye for style

Tingler, membership has its privileges, but you are right, I am sure there are folks who would blast a newbie for having some of the same tricks down to his 60's ride.. .. Is it right? no

life is not fair...and neither is the HAMB
