This was taken in Portland yesterday, not by me but by a school teacher that was off for the day. I know most are hard core, drive in any weather kinda folks - but there are some days it's just better to stay home!! It's been pretty nasty around here, but this kinda stuff just has to brighten your day!! BTW - no vintage iron (or people) were injured in the making of this video. The driver of the one pinball, I mean SUV got a s****e on his forehead! Hopefully the link will post right.... http://www.king5.com/sharedcontent/VideoPlayer/makeASX.php?***le=www.king5.com/kiraw_011607portlandhomevid.wmv
Dont drink anything before watching this clip, it will end up everywhere if you dont heed this warning! Trust me I did and it did end up everywhere!
I saw that last night! like keystone cops. I may be wrong but isn't that first SUV flooring it? YOu can see him slide down the hill, then he guns the gas right into the pole, then guns it again, and goes back uphill straight into the wall. You can see snow dust flying out from his wheels like they're going full bore? What an idiot!
My Seattle buddies sent me this clip the other day. I don't know what's worse, the guy that floors it or the guy standing on the brakes!
that's funny to watch, from here in Colorado! we've had ice like that plenty of times, and we have steep hills too. the secret is twofold, knowing how to drive and good winter tires. some good winter tires with siping and studs will stick to ice pretty good, as long as you know how to work the pedals! i'd like to hear the follow up story of the SUV driver when his insurance company drops him for being a dumb***.
the first guy HAS to be upside down in his payments and just wants a new car. The more I watch it the more I KNOW it's done on purpose, or the guy flipped out and is REALLY mad and doesn't care what he does to other cars. Jeez, at least aim for a tree
I live about an hour away from there and for us this was some crazy weather. That video shows what happens when people that are not used to wintry condition drive.
That is hilarious...it amazes me how people think the just have to be somewhere when it is like that outside. I don't think I could have kept the camera still from laughing. Bill
