I think these guys screennames will look very familiar to anyone involved on the HAMB.

 

Since Denise is already an alliance member I'll throw in votes for Brice Lancaster and Squirrel. Those names pop up on more posts than I could name. They are always providing good knowledge. After all that whats this forum was built for I believe, was to share knowledge. Anyway they represent a selfless guiding light for the dumb like me.

Seriously my first thought was HRLC but i was a fart smeller and looked at her status...She deserves it from all the countless hours she puts into the HAMB and Hot Rodding! but being the person she is ..she prolly would hand it to someone else!

Sheesh - so many great choices. I have no idea how to narrow this down.

Max Gearhead (as mentioned) - always doing stuff for fellow members behind the scenes.

Bugman - always has something good to add to a post. Knowledgeable fella.

Zombie -few posts, but all are worth the wait.

BDrake - Another good guy (not "goodguy"), I really dig seeing his posts too.

Bobbleed - don't kow if he's a member, but when he puts up pictures of his homegrwn stuff it makes me want to BUILD!!

Plowboy - Awe-inspiring period!

Tingler - he makes me want to paint.

Mike Bishop - why he isn't an honorary member I don't know...

How about Levis Cl***ic?....He came to my aid on some hard to find brake parts last summer...overnighted them to me even, and he seems to have the very Spirit if this board in his latest project, a 26-27
T Roadster on a homebuilt frame....I even met him once, face to face...

And if it will get me a cookie (even if it won't, I'm a diabetic... ) Denise gets my vote also...She had a photo taken of herself behind the wheel of my '28 Ford A woodie at the NSRA Nats in Kazoo this past fall, with yours truely..and I had my 15 minutes of fame...Thanks Denise!

You know, I am at a distinct disadvantage to be choosing people who do good deeds in the "real world" vs. what goes down here in the HAMB's "virtual world".

There seems to be a gaggle of fellas (and ladies) who know one another personally. I am pretty much on an island in these regards. The closest person I know is Zimm. and he's a gold chainer ....and really I don't know him THAT well to be honest.

It's amazing how this place has given me the chance to hang out with such talent that I would otherwise never know.

Hence the dilema of picking just a few names out of the air...

I tried to go through the members list but dang....we's got lots 'o folks round here. (wish I could get the member's list in a spreadsheet format).



Anywho Denise is an automatic. She's the bomb. She has more heart and soul in this place than any ten guys put together.

Scotch is the automotive renaissance man - he knows more about every different kind of motor than most folks know about any single kind/brand.

.....well I guess my point is I can't make up my mind - and I will take your word for it when someone wins because I haven't read a single name on this list that I dissagree with.

What about chopperimpala? He is great guy, lives here in spokane, does all the car **** and does have like 37.5 kids. He is also on the HAMB and talking about the HAMB all of the time.
