The Poor Boys will be hosting a suede room for the Sacramento Autorama. We were scheduled to be in the tent room but because of a hugh response to outnumber the trailer queens, we will be given the Pavillion. This place will hold 165 cars and we'd like to fill it up. We've got three bands on tap for the show, including the Chop Tops, plus pinstriping exibition and auction (going to UCD Childerns Hospital) and lots of other cool stuff. If you or your club would like to be a part of this, go to www.theoriginalpoorboys.com to get all the info. There will be no late fee penalty for registration but sign up as soon as you can.
We talked to Drew and mentioned we'll have a few cars in...mine's a big maybe. We'll give him an official count soon. Bryan
Hey.... I would but its a long ways to push the A from orangevale and the vette looks like a trailler queen even though it ain't
From all reports we're about at 70 to 80 vehicles right now. DON'T let the name "suede room" fool you. It doesn't mean you have to have suede paint to be accepted. Same rule apply here as in most of the shows we attend/have. It's just a seperate show for the traditional low buck guys.
I'll speak with the Road Zombies at the C.P. show today and see if they'e like to attend! I wish i could be there, but i'll be out of town CAB
Im into bringing my wagon and i think some fellow san jose guys are going as well. couple questions: 1) just fill out the application linked off the Poor Boys website and mail it in? 2) have to pay the late fee? 3) assume have to setup on Thursday? this is my biggest challenge as i have to work on friday. if so, have to figure something out. -scott noteboom
Hell I would love to come and show off - yet the body is still off - Frame is 97% - noway to thrash and make the date for sure - would need to tow her in....that would suck... I will show up and say "hello" for sure... Cheers
Scott 1) Yes, fill it out and send ot in ASAP in order to get your setup day pass sent to you in time 2)No late fees because this was short notice 3)Setup is on Thursday from 10am to 10pm, also on Friday morning from 7 to 10am. drag'n50...Photos not necessary at this late date, just be there. LoL I'll be there the whole time and if you, or anyone else, have any questions call me @ 916-705-8001
hey bruce, i went today (saturday) and the suede section was the highlight of my day. great job. junk yard sponsor (pick n pull) was brilliant! the band was tight and drew a crowd and who could resist watching all the talented artists create on site in the pinstriping "corral". and the cars! what a concept, cars that are used. character goes a long way in my book. great variety. thanks for the inspiration. continued success, glen.
I'd bring mine, but as of right now all I have is a engine, wheels and an idea. But if anybody had a bosy and frame, I'll totally roll it in. See you tomorrow.
