I got a question...Some years ago I was thinking wouldn't it look cool to build a mustang fuselage body to a smaller scale and use as a speedster body? Has anyone done this?

Duh? just answered my own question. More stockish/32ish than what I had in mind, but its the idea.

    Perfect...

Coop's lines are so tight. Almost looks like a vinyl sticker. That boy is good. Car looks great!

Congratulations on the engine turning. I know what it takes to do something like that. Really nice.

Bobby, Just another gearhead with some words of encouragement...
Amazing! I love the engine turned fairing, and the contrast against the scuffed, original paint. Gotta say, the final outcome works much better than any of the previous layouts.

I haven't tried to contact Bud Anderson yet, I wanted to wait til the tank was done. I'll probably try this week.

Thanks for the thumbs up guys. here is a better pic of the painting.
And I also changed the front suspension around. I swapped the straight tube axle for a v8-60 axle. It looks way better. Has a nice smile to it.

WOW! I love this tank. It's one of my favorite rides I've seen here on the HAMB. Can't wait to see it in the pages of TRJ.

Yes, I did. Jimmy Kats, the guy that made the Salt Dreams book sent me a picture. It was 400 megs, so it should look pretty good. I'm going to pick it up later today, it 8 ft. tall and 14 ft. long.

Thanks Fletcher. Here are a couple more pics. My buddy Ruben came by with some one shot and a paint brush.

  28. Hey Bobby, can't wait to see it at the show! Coop really did an outstanding job with the logo. It has alot of the cl***ic woodpecker feel to it, love the concept!
