Puke Tank Ideas

Any good ideas for coolant recovery tanks? The beer can/bottle thing is way overdone.

If you have pics, post 'em!

 

Buy some tubing weld some caps on the ends and have someone paint it.
I just made this out of aluminum, its actually an oil tank for a motorcycle.

I got a million of 'em.

I'm useing an old Stanley Stainless thermos in one that's gouing together soon. But the guy is a coffee drinker.

I've used little gas cans, plastic clorox bottles ( I guess gl*** would work). I got a Coors Superbowl XL mini keg in the garage that could work for one. You name it if it can be used its probably been used.

I have a WW2 deactived air force bomb about 18 inches long that i plan on using

 

I just got this compressed air tank off a Saturn V rocket from the Apollo moon program. Was gonna use it for a remote master cylinder filler, but it holds 3qts, so a bit big for that application. I'll prolly use it for a puke tank, though.

I ran across this br*** one at a swap meet several years ago. It was too long so I Had to cut about 6 inches off of it and solder it back together then added some clear tubing to check the level. It had an AC decal on it when I bought it. I think it was an aftermarket puke tank sold for use on trucks way back when.

 

I waited till the girlfriend was asleep and raided the cupboards for the coffee container.

Do it the way they used to and dump it on the ground after all what are you building a Hot Rod or a Street Rod
