Howell's sells door skins, I'm going to buy a set, and some other parts (trunk area rain gutters...)...not sure of their quality....

so does Brookville Roadster, Snyders, Mac's Bratton's....stuff I've gotten from them has generally been good. Some of their parts may well come from Howell's for all I know.

I found Howell's on an internet search. Prices seemed to be fairly reasonable.

    Without question Brookville.

    Best quality.
    Best knowledge.
    Best customer service.
    Best assistance.
    Stand behind their products.

Fair price, I have bought from all the sources listed above. As I get older I get wiser, and lazier I guess. I pay a tad more but the part fits the first time. More time for beer.

    Don't buy a Howell's decklid.

(Hey Howell's guys, if you are HAMBers here's a little constructive critisizm. You need to put a crown in the decklids, not just bend some edges on a flat-rolled peice of steel. The one we bought did not fit the stock inner and didn't look right at all.)

The back panel is the same , single curve no crowns. I haven't tried the other stuff so I can't say.. Buy the Brookville you'll save time and money in the long run and they fit too:D

I guess your question kinda is open to interpretation but are you asking about reproduction metal or original (NOS or good used)?

The reason why I ask is because the Henry Ford sheetmetal is by far the best fitting out of everyone's repro stuff. Antique Auto Sheetmetal (Brookville) is a great source on what they make however they do not make everything. Even as good as their stuff is, sometimes it is not exact to the original blueprints.

Howells name was mentioned several times above and the comments about fit issues are spot on from my experiences too. What I have personally found is they make a product that is affordable but usually off when it comes to good fits and correct contours. If you are OK with improper contours and shapes, they will likely be a good supplier.

If you are seeking the best quality for the $$ spent, I suggest you order from Brattons because he handles the best of each panel being made when there are multiple suppliers of the same product. Mac's is another one that usually tries to sell "price over quality".

Might I suggest you list exactly what panel(s) you are looking for and maybe we can tell you the best supplier for that item.
