Duke I love your car. I just bought the 57 yesterday.

  9. No hijack intended but Duke! How does the car ride now and how much clearance do you have between the upper control arm and the frame? Did you leave the rubber bumpers in place? I,m going to buy a set of those ball joint spacers for my car.[IMG]

Hey Duke, I'm also int. in how those spacers work out. Also did you make em or buy em? Where did you get the fenderwell headers?

Aint had the car out yet, im snowed in
Over an inch clearance, I installed new bumpers, didnt know I didnt have any!

Reason I added the spacers was talking to you about how your control arms hit your frame.

I used the 2" spacers, not the 4" ones, the 4" ones are not for a tri-5

The spacers worked great, theres a "flap" on your frame you have to trim, its just a piece welded on the frame that holds the control arm bumper. Its remains in place, you just have to trim it a bit.

I was all set to buy them from a guy on ebay but my buddy insisted on making them for me.

    Fenderwell headers are ******s #2102

Well here are the pics. Sorry I could not get on here the last few days.

Do you notice anything about this car, its a odd one. I am trying to find more info on it. I heard about a car like this from many years ago. I got to check back with the guy that told me about a bunch of local cars from "the day". LOL
