Raining? Was it raining? I hadn’t really noticed. cough*deluge*cough... At least the temp was above freezing. Of course, the rain running down my butt crack was not.

For me it's strange seeing those pictures because it kind of made me want to get mad at first. You know, “what are you doing to my grampa‘s car?!“ Then I remembered...it ain’t his no more. I guess it's just the memories associated with it. Doesn‘t matter, it served it’s purpose as a family sedan for many years and is now serving so that other fiddy-nines may be free to roam the highways of this great and soggy land. It might have made a great hunk o’ shit to haul your less-than-best friends around in until the suspension collapsed at the second stoplight (after you spent three years finding all the parts and patch panels to fix it up) but it still would have ended up as a parts car. Especially if the suspension collapsed at the second stoplight.

And for those blah blah blahing about the car being cut up... it was listed in the classifieds clear as day for you to buy and do your best savior act with. That Bel Air sat for 20 years and would have sat for another 20 if these guys hadn't needed parts I needed some bucks. My grandfather was the only person who had any right to bitch about what has been done so save the “you coulda done something with that“.

BTW, he’d have shot everyone one of you dead. Tits up. Expired. Un-suitable for anything but worms meat. Like dead, man. Deader than he is and he’s deader than shit.

The more door died but helped other 59/60 Elcos,Belaires and Impalas live on.I just cut up a 73 Gremlin that was my old race car so it can help my new race 74 gremlin and the handful of other Gremlin owners keep thier rolling abominations running lol
