Looks great. How much wood is in the body structure ? The british were really stuck on wooden structure with metal skins for the body. Be careful when you nail it the first time . Those short wheelbase cars can be a handful.

Sorry I havent been checking my post, the frame I designed for a drop of about 7" from factory and on Air Ride Tech Pro E Ride 2 the smallest rack and pinion available with ShockWave bags 45 1/2" rotor to rotor, and a 38" wide Curie 9" rear Fatman Fabrications made the frame. The engine is a 2002 Bonneville Supercharged 3800 6 cyl this engine has a very narrow oil pan and I will be able to keep this all under the hood. 4 wheel disc brakes and the trans is a 4l60E.

Two answers, the morris Eight is the immediate Car to the Minor which fist appeared in 1948, with the Morris 8 sidevalve engine.

There is 'Zero' wood in a morris 8 ,even the earlier 1934-38 versions.
The morris 8 is a Unibody with no ch***is .Van and pickup versions had a sort of half ch***is in front.

Interesting project. So do FWD 3.8L V6s have the same bolt pattern as RWD engines, or did you have to create an adaptor to run the Bonneville engine?

You are correct about the wood , but this car has a complete ch***is! I am getting ready to remove the body and mate it to the new one.

Glad this came back up to the top, as I missed it the first go round! I've got an Austin 10, which is similar to your Morris 8. I went the other way with mine; a higher stance g***er. I've dropped the rear 2" since this older pic:
