Found this on another forum, checked Snopes and found it to be true.

Email sent from Iraq to their contact email address:

    To Whom it may concern:

Do you ship to APO addresses? I'm in the 1st Cavalry Division stationed in Iraq and we are trying to order some mats but we are looking for who ships to APO first.

    SGT Hess"

    Subject: Re: Feedback: from discount-mats.com

    SGT Hess,

We do not ship to APO addresses, and even if we did, we would NEVER ship to Iraq. If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq.

Hey Wisconsin HAMB'ERS! I'm a fat old man sitting in North Dakota pissed because I can't do anything about this. According to Snopes this company is in West Allis Wisc.could someone do me a favor and pay them a personal call and inquire why this happened and what they propose to do about it? We can discuss punitive damages later.

We're not talking politics...we're talking about respecting our troops.

    It's not really politics.

There's alot of HAMB'ers in Iraq and many more HAMB'ers here with family over there.

It sounds more like a company that has a problem with sticking to business and just doing what it's supposed to do.

As far as deleting the thread I'm sure it's being watched, but for an FNG maybe you're not familiar with the folks here and how far the HAMB reaches.

I damn sure know I"M still learnin'.

Pony up a few bucks and join the alliance.

Sorry to rant, just a ****py day, don't take it personal.

  10. As the man said, we are talking about our troops! Top which I would strongly add there are HAMB guys in uniform! So this is NOT OT! How dare anyone decide to cut out fellow HAMB guys from a post? WTF are you thinking? There are quite a few HAMB guys over there who keep up on this site. How in the world do you think they are going to feel about a couple of you guys wanting to ignore them and such. A few of you guys dissapoint me, I would hope there are other HAMB guys who would feel the same. Maybe you should think about saying you are sorry to the fellow HAMB guys over in Iraq.

Not off topic at all. Our troops are doing what is necessary so that we can continue to do this hot rodding thing. Think if there's another flag flying over Washington you'll be worried if there is an adaptor available to mate a 371 Olds to a t5 tranns?
Bet the Romans never thought they would fall from power, but check your history books. Freedom requires CONSTANT vigil and those who get lazy deserve what they get. The shame is that there are those who enjoy our life here and have no desire to make a payment on the right.
Take a walk through a military cemetary sometime. Every white cross represents someone who won't/ didn't get a chance to build a rat rod, a '29 highboy on '32 rails, play a round of golf, or look at a sunrise or sunset. We owe them big time and that goes for the ones who are currently in harms way. There's a thought I just recently found that pretty well sums it up.
"There are only 2 en***ies that have offered to die for you. Jesus Christ and the American soldier." Being the son of a WWII vet who continued to serve America as an Air Force officer and bomber pilot with 32 years of service and was a patriot until his death in 2002 and being a born again christian this statement is very dear to me.

I have received many chain e-mails about companies that do not support our troops because they don't agree with current politics. MY opinion on the war makes no difference, I support out brothers overseas. I will always support our brothers overseas. This company has chosen to exercise thier right of free speach. I will exercise my right to disagree and buy elsewhere. Thank you for letting me know just where this company stands.
