Hatch---it's either RESTORED or it's modified....can't be both. Now post a pic and let the bidding begin....hahahaha!!! I'm hungry.........
Hatch, I hope it is well detailed under the bonnett, because I saw your grill go over the on stage chassis cam, it seems to have some issues on the undercarraige... grease dripping, loose wheel, and the propane tank isnt the correct white color. Its all in the details, and there is no paperwork to go with it. Any bidder would be taking a chance on this one... I will be surprised if it goes above $20K.
I had it built at Boyds....guess I got screwed. I'm gonna take it over to the guys at American Chopper and see if they can fix it for me. Pauly is such a HUNK!!!
Question..............do you have all the extra grilling accessories to go with it?? Not the repop stuff.......
only a couple hours left wheres this rig r u holdin out ? did it lose its shine in the rain.. paperdog
Well, I have mixed opinions on the BJ show. I know some of the players by name and have spent some time around em all about a dozen years ago. I'd venture to say that not too many guys here would pay what some of the well healed will pay for these things on TV. And I feel it's only because of the TV show that they do it. The premiums are 10%, not 8. From BOTH ends. Nice work if you can get it. In the grand scheme of things there's no room for the "philanthropy" that gets bantered about on this board regarding cars and values. Why not invest the time and talent to create a "tribute" (latest word for clone) COPO or HEMI car and spend the 4-5K to sell it there. Think of the profits you'd have to build all the traditional rods you can imagine. That is of course assuming you CAN do that. Look at another way. You have that damn old Camaro taking up the space you need. You don't drive it anymore cuz that pig of a big block gets like 6mpg and the solid lifters are a pain in the ass. So sell it there and twice what an ad would bring ya. Or would you rather sell it for exactly what you have in it cuz that's the "right" thing to do? Is it all real? FUCK NO IT AIN'T! There's quite a bit of in-breeding going on as it's always been for decades. I'VE BEEN THERE. Use it if you can, enjoy it as a show, or just pass on it all together. So back on topic, hatch, we'd have to split the entry fee and sales premiums, pool our gas money to get there and find a campground for economical accomodations, and decide what value we want to establish for these. Then I'll "buy" it on TV for our price. But 1st we'd better buy a dozen more to cash in on our new-found wealth after the sale
BINGO! That is why I lost interest this year & only watched the first night in full. There are just to darn many commercials. I can understand some - but - this has gotten out of hand Oh yeah, by the way, I have a 5/16" lock washer that came off of a Hemi 'Cuda. I could be persuaded to part with it for $75.00
Hatch, Once again you managed to extend an absurd bull shit post into something really funny. Just like the good old days of the HAMB. Does that make this a retro post
Seems like only a few days ago you posted that you weren't watching Barret -Jackson, you were" Actually working on an old car". Now we know what happens when the "old car boredom" sets in. The circus just ended a couple of hours ago, get your ass back out in the garage. . Oh Yea, be sure you turned off the valve on the grille at the tank Frank
Hatch is correct, and these fucks know they are just making shit up. Barrett-Jackson has experienced unprecedented early-consignment responses. With vehicles consigned months in advanced of the sale - there is a ton of time for these lame lazy fucks to do a little research.
