Didn't see a thread yet sooooo........ Monogram 1969 GTO Judge...SLOWLY building it into a early 80's mullet/****rocker mobile....check out the red painted brake drums...hahaha It's also got a Grant 3 spoke wheel, a 5" Autometer Monster tach, and a 3 gauge panel mounted along the bottom of the dash... How about a funnycar???? Polar Lights Mr. Norm's SuperCharger....
This one is off topic by subject matter........I like to build these types of race cars occasionally, as they have ALOT of detail and help hone your model building skills.....challenging AND fun! Plus they're just BAD***! Tamiya Toyota GT-One......
A mullet GTO, your a sick sick man. I was at the hobby shop today and saw a 1:18 dicast Model A coupe stocker. I'd like to see what someone could do with that!
I started with an old '49 ford tudor, and the roof from a '53 chevy belair to get this; my '53 plymouth
I was running plug wires on my vintage V-12 (made out of two of the six cylinder Damiler aircraft engines from the Red Baron, siamesed together) earlier tonight, but I don't have anything new to show pics of. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish something by Feb. 3rd for NNL West in Santa Clara, CA. Here's what the V-12 looked like last time I showed it:
Get the hell outa here!!! That is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time! PLEASE show us more! And What size is it?
The Mess-o-Schmitt is 1/24 scale - a Gunze kit I bought bagged for $4.00 at a kit swap meet. The ch***is is from the MPC Jawbreaker and like I said, the engine was made from two of the mills from the Monogram Red Baron. An early mock-up:
Been a while since I have posted anything on the HAMB. Life issues have been getting in the way I guess. Have been working on some diecasts, will post images next week! Automotive Stud I have seen images of the 1/18th stock model A coupe on the web. But have been unable to source them here in Australia. If I can ever get onto one I plan on building a model of a friend's improved A sport coupe. Geoff aka whodaky
Nice models. TIP: If you want to improve the look of the tires, try heating up the bottom of the tire and "smooshing" it a little. It makes the car appear to have some weight. I learned to do this with my aviation models. I'd try it on an old spare tire first to test it out.
Geoff... say the word, and i'll get you one if they are available here in the states. i can ship it out to you soon as i can get one. know of any sources here in the US? lookin forward to seeing pics of your diecasts... you do amazing work with anything you build, but MAN i love your modeling skills PS. . . where you been in the chat? ? ? www.vagabonds.cc/chat1.htm
We've missed you on here. I could get you one for the cost of the model and shipping. I think it was about $60 or so
