    Hello,
I was wondering if you might have a extra good 1962 Chevy Hood that you are not going to be using. Mine has rust in the usual place right along the lip. I am always looking for 62 Chevy parts.
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

Thats some straight looking sheet metal on this side. Its gonna be a sweet ride. Im partial to 62's. By first real car was a 62 Imp with a 283 and 3 speed. Worked my way up to a '09 and 4 wspeed before I crashed it.

Can you sink the stock gl*** into the cowl/package tray area? Cutting the stock gl*** would be a mess if you don't have 30+ years of gl*** experience under your belt (or so I've heard)...and it looks like you're looking for thoughts here, so... just my .02

Nice overall profile. I didn't think I would like it because I like the way these cars look stock, but this looks mean. And I like mean.

    I'll second that.
If you can get another roof, GET IT! Because that thing will never get finished. Chops that start out the way yours did usually end up never getting "done" or are left with loads of filler, no side gl*** and plexi front and back gl*** screwed to the pinch welds. Or all the sudden the customized wants a roadster.

    Now go prove me wrong

I'm sorry but I'll have to agree.I really hope your able to pull it off most people that I've seen that spilt the roof in that many pieces never get it right afterwards. Good luck though and keep us posted on your progress.

Well if you can find a solution for the gl***... you can always turn it inot a padded style top...

(just ignore the chain grille and to small rear window... the top might be a good option.)

I think the w/s will be hard, but the roof shouldnt be to hard to get back. this one was made from 42 pieces and they all went together. I got faith in the power of a mig welder a hammer and the love of the car.
