One Good Chrome shop in So-Cal?

    I know I know..its been asked a million times here...I did the search...Ive gone through about 10 chrome shops and am sick of ****ty work...Im looking for a really good shop...Even if I have to ship the stuff...I dont wanna chrome plate my new truck bumper...I wanna show plate some stuff for a Pebble beach show winner. I know its expensive, but id rather pay obsene ammounts now and have it perfect than a cheap half *** job...Any one know of any california guys or even AZ....I need perfect. Thanks. And dont pick on my spelling...Im a hot rodder, not an english major.

    CHECK OUT SHERMS. They plate for Rick Dore, and many other top builders.

    Does lotsa high-end stuff, for Duesenbergs, Hispano-Suiza's, Isotta-Fraschini's, etc.
    They ain't cheap, but they are damned good....

    I second that... The bumper shop does good work. I would recommend them.

    the bumper shop lost my rear bumper. they told me 4 weeks it took almost 4 months with the whole ordeal.

    there is a really good shop in van nuys. i'll get the info for you. if your in hurry don't go to them, but if you want it done right that's the place.

    I've gotten really amazing work from Sherm's in Sacto. I have heard praise for Christensen in LA, but have never used them.

    El Monte Chrome in...you guessed it El Monte. Great work. They even did repairs to some pot-metal items without being asked. (i didn't think they could be repaired, so didn't bother asking)

    Astro Chrome in Van Nuys is OK but not show type work IMO

    almost all the chrome out of are shop go's to sherms sac ca (916(456-5600 show work blue chrome but my 47 cad chrome cost me $12,000 bucks, hight but its nice ------- Oz Welch
