I'm getting ready to order t-shirts for this years Rock & Race and could use a little help in t-shirt sizes. I'm trying to figure out what percentage of small xl, 2xl, 3xl I will need. Please let me know your size. Thanks..

  7. I know a pretty ugly story about that.:eek::D

Seems to me when I was keeping t shirts around to peddle or give away we were lways out of L and XL. Almost no one wanted a M and small people wew non-existant.

Of course I prefer my ladies in L or XL just more to wrestle. Sturdy is good.

How abouyt XLT? or 2XLT? It's nice for tall fellers to be able to tuck their shirt in once in a while.

Also, go for the darker colors, our club here ordered white for everthing last year and it sucked. Everybody knows that the white last about thirty minutes before you get up next to something. The black ones seem to last forever. Just my .02.

At this point the poll agrees with my expieriences. Most need to be L,or XL, some M,2x & 3X.

I 2nd that. I know a show promoter who brought back a bunch of unsold shirts and they were all white. No, white wasn't the only color he took to the show. Black and gray sold like hotcakes.

I'll second that, except it ain't just about the tall guys. I wear a 3XL, but prefer a 3XLT because the regular length ones just won't stay tucked in after a couple of washes. Think of it as a public service; if you're big enough to wear a 3X, the bare midriff look is not a good one!

Cuts down on the plumber's butt thang, too! :D

    Later, Kinky6

All I know is that when I was working in the t-shirt printing biz, there was a company in Texas called get this, TEXAS TEES that carried up to 50XL, I'm not kidding. It was in their catalog. We actually ordered one for our shop and printed it up as an event flag. That thing ruled! And it was HUGE!

BTW, I prefer a size 3 or 4XL. I like to swim in tees.

  15. Maybe somebody could do a poll on whether the image should be printed on the front or the back. I usually don't buy one unless it's on the front.

Don't completely not order smalls or mediums, they are good for girls. Especially if you aren't ordering any girl cut/fit shirts.
Oh, and I second the notion of having another color in addition to black whether it be gray or white. I have way too many black t-shirts that are way too hot to wear all summer!
    Thanks!

Megan, that reminds me. We used to print a LOT of shirts for night clubs and strip joints, for wet t-shirt contests. They always wanted the cheapest shirts we could get and ALWAYS XS, sometimes even ordered youth large. Pretty weird...

Sorry to get O/T. I feel kinda like breeder now. Kinda dirty too...

I'd go for a pre-shrunk 3XL. Anything but white, I don't do so well with keeping the front of white shirts stain-free.

Just the opposite here. I hate shirts with stuff on the front unless its a small logo. The only shirt I have with a large front logo is my black HAMB shirt. Always have the option of the shirt being available in black.............white shirts get ruined way to fast.

I too sell t-shirts at shows and car runs. My big mistake was to buy way to many white t-shirts, now I'm stuck!
I will buy either the color they sometimes call "heather" gray or black even though they are hot in the summer most guys that buy t-shirts want black.
Large or XL or XXL are what I sell most of. I do carry some mediums however they don't sell very well.

As for me I can wear an XXL but would like a XXXL just for the coverage.

This has been a very helpful thread..... THANKS!:D
