I'll be selling at the DFW swap meet at Lagrange Field this weekend. Would like to meet any Hambers that plan on going. Look for a blue awning with a banner that says "AUTOMOTIVE INSULATION". I will be on one of the end spaces on the main road towards the east end.
I really want to, need to, but I always have my baby girl on Saturdays while mom works. She's 1 year old now, but I don't know if its going to be too cold. Heck what is too cold for a child this age? I sure miss going to the swaps. Decatuer and Pate are on my "must do". I need to find a baby sitter since the weather is always crumby during those two.
I have bought stuff from you already ! forecast 55/sunny Friday ..rain late 53 / rain early Saturday clearing to sun by noon -1:00 pm
Dont have my window sticker with me right now but im pretty sure ill be at space #376 on row 29. Come on by. we have a shade, or in this case big ubrella, and will have a propane heater going.
What kind of parts you looking for? I mainly bring insulation but I have a **** load of junk.....i mean treasures and i never know what to bring. As usual they always want what you left at home.
I can't remember the cross streets is is 6th street and what's the other one. Only been ther once. Does anybody know?
Turn to the east off of Main street on 7th. Go a couple of blocks and you'll see the swap meet. If you turn east on 4th street you might find a parking spot just outside the fence and you can walk though the gate there and We are right inside on the right.
1st report from swap meet What a beautiful day .. upper sixtys ..My face got a little burnt rolled in about noon .. bought couple things that I needed By 4ish was starting to fill up .. Seen some "hamb"-a-riffic stuff .. There was a great 1960 Mercury 2 door sedan ... If you like those units asking $1895 ..did not run --but it had serious potential If I was into those ..It would be here now Not on road since 1974 , original paint , body was very good I'll bring my camera tomorrow ..sorry, forgot it today
If anyone goes and sees a full size 60-63 pontiac 2 door, or a 63-64 Fairlane 2 door for sale, lemme know! I've got a pretty busy weekend and won't be able to make it out unfortunately! :-(
Yeah you were trying to get your buddy to spend the 2 bucks his Grandmother gave him for his first birthday!

Not horrible for the first swap of the year. I didn't buy much, but at least I've got some money left over to spend on other stuff, like I should have done in the first place.
