Well the T has been takin the backseat to other projects. Actually I've gotten a good bit done to it lately but it hasn't been anything major or cool.

The front suspension is mounted now along with the radiator and grill. The insert was fitted into the grill too. It was an old race car item I got at a swapmeet. I like it.

Also got some of the new trunk area done. We made a filler panel to go below the rear window. The main reason is for a gas filler. Also made a cool little "bump" around the filler. The trunk is next. It's gonna be shorter than the original.

The polishing on the intake is about done too. I'm doing the important stuff first:eek:

The rest of the stuff isn't that cool to show. I'm gonna have to get going on it. Plans are to drive it to Detroit for the Autorama.

JT...want to help drive it to Detroit? :) Just have to put up with me for 8 hours...

The bottom of the grill is just brake line bent with the bender. Sorta worked out good. We tried to make a grill out of a 59 Ford grill but it looked like ****.

    We're thrashing on the T.

Got the roof insert done. It will be removable. There's two studs up front to hold it tight at the windshield and a cool little slider in the middle to hold it in place. It gets covered in 3 weeks so we have to hustle.

We also got most of the rear sheetmetal done. Just need to make the actual deck lid yet. Then it's onto the doors and front floor section. Should be ready to start body work by the end of this week.

Maybe I don't see the "part line" but is that adapter a part of the intake, welded to it or --home-made--???? Looks good!!!...Ken

The adapter is your typical Vintage speed unit but I bolted it on and shaped the two so they match.

Chopp...go right ahead. I think it's an Edelbrock. I also took the coil mounts off. It's just about ready to final polish.

I finished the engine up last night for the coupe. It's just a 350 but I put a Duntov 30-30 cam in it. Also added a set of 462 double hump heads. The car is going to have a 60s style to it and this should add to the look. It's going to sound good with those baffeled headers.

    Mikey...you're my hero!

Sorry guys I don't have any good pics of the whole car. Right now it's just the body on the frame to finish up some of the body panels. I hope to have it painted by the end of next week. Then I'll have some good pics for you.

Looks good Clark, I'm also looking forward to seeing an overall pic.

Ken, if I remember right Clark posted pics here when he did the intake, maybe a search will turn it up.
