Does anyone know what you set the points at on a 1966 ford 352 engine. I can't find it and even the computere at the parts store doesn't list it. I know I can get it close with a book of matches but I want the right #. lol I even had a guy at the store handing me his foil off his ciggs.
next time hit the public library they have manuals dating back to the early 30's all the way to present date.
My 66 pickup would not sucessfully "tune up", despite the new parts. Some closer looking saw the point adjustment wouldn't stay, shaft wobbled, upper bushing was shot. In search of a replacement bushing, NAPA had a rebuilt for amazingly $17 and change. I said order it, expecting the mistake to be corrected when it came in. No **** price was what was quoted. Top it off the gear, points and condenser were on it, gap was right, just dropped it in as is. Something worth checking out.
