Down 2 houses from me is an abandon house, I always used to wanna go see if there were cars in the bushes at this house but was always scared of the dude,???? Anyways a buddy of mine moved in next door and today I went over to his house and he said "hey there is some old P.O.S. studabaker in the bushes" I said "HUH?" so 10 steps later and one fence hop, ".............................HOLY SHIT" Dont have any ideab of the year? 1930, 1928???? but its absolutely unmolested and not an ounce of rot anywere! So there is a guy who checks on the house once a month and I guess he'll just give me the car, as far as everyone is tellin me! any clue what year??

    1930 Studebaker.
On the 29 the crank hole surround protrudes up into the radiator area just a little bit.
The 30 the area falls below the radiator front as in yours. 31 was a different grill altogether. Also since it does not have the stutter hood vent it makes it a commander series.

Whats with the headlight refit? Definatly badass though. It would be cool to actually start a project that is a complete car. Instead of scrounging for parts for years.

Nice! If the guy actually does say you can have it don't hesitate one bit.
Just don't seem too anxious. Sometimes that works against you.

Good Luck, and let us know if you get it.

Looks like a neat score...and very solid. The car next to it looks to be a Rambler 4 door maybe 1960 or there abouts.

When you approach the guy about selling it, you might want to use the word "restore" instead of talking about hot rodding it. Seems to make things go a little smoother, at least it's been my experience.
