How many ounces are we talking in each cylinder? 2? 8? up to the plug holes? I'm sure as hell not having much luck with my 235. If the engine is stuck there shouldn't be much seep-through, right? Or should I be topping up every other day? I'm gonna have to look into this Mystery Oil.

If it's seized that bad, I don't see any point in trying to unstick it without disassembing it anyway. Remove the head and see just how bad things are in there.

dude PB blaster works well to..just pull the plugs fill the holes till the fluid starts to run out of the hole then put the plug back in do all plugs that way ..let it set for several days..then turn by hand...after it free's up take the plugs out blow out the liquid..then put the plugs back in and your done....if the motor is seized and not locked up

I think you are the first to say it in this thread and it needs repeating. There is a difference between seized & locked up. Seized is from lack of movement and the pistons or bearings are oxidized in the cylinders or journals.

Locked up is a whole nother matter. If it has a spun bearing the only way your ever going to get it to turn is to pull it and take it apart. Frankly if it were mine I would probably pull it and try to find out what is stopping it from spinning before I start using it as transportation.

when i get a motor that hasent been run in awhile i pull the plugs and stick a little light down in the cylinders, if it looks good and has no rust i spray some moove-it on top of the pistons and leave it set for a couple of hours and then try a bar on the crank, if its rusty theres no point trying to roll it over, you many have some nice pistons that could be distroyed by draging them up and down in rusty bores, pull the head and clean the rust off the cylinders before trying to remove the pistons, by nice pistons i mean over bored ones that you might be able to use in another block.

thats why i use M M oil..and let it set for as long as possible....my 39 sat up since 1972 and i let it set for a while before turning it..from that point i have rebuilt the carb and drove it for 6 months...just rrecently put a new cam and lifters in the motor...but it wasnt because of the setting for 33 years..the motor runs perfectly and doesnt smoke a bit..knock on wood..its been a good running motor....i owe it to marvel mystery oil
