Hi all, My name is Paul and I'll flat out say I'm new. New to the forum and actually pretty new to rodding. My dad owned a '35 Ford touring sedan and a '40 for pickup while I was growing up, but never really started or finished them, they just sat. I very much grew to love customs, but more modern. I built a '91 s10 that was dropped 6", a '93 s-blazer 2wd that was lifted 6". I did the work myself and learned a ton. I admit I got caught in the sport compact craze but for the speed and mechanics, not the foot tall spoilers. I built a '94 civic, swapped out the 80hp cx engine for a turbo(which I built and tuned myself) 170hp ex engine. I guess I'm writing this to say that I have had some experience, just not in rodding. My wife and I ride enduro's all summer and through that I thought she would like street bikes. I tried to get her on a bobber of mine and then a cruiser, but no luck. She's not afraid of hitting a tree at 40mph, but just doesn't trust other drivers. SO I wanted this to be our p***ion. I have loved the cl***ics for so many years but never thought I could afford it. None of my friends were into it and dad just had too many other things on his plate. Now I have some money and hopefuly some help from you. I'll probably read more than post, but I'd hope that if I had a serious question, you'd be there to help. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated. Thanks for listening, Paul
Welcome! I'm from Ann Arbor and also new to this great site! Hopefully in a few days I'll post some pictures of my barn find 1929 "four banger" 1929 Dry Lakes roadster.-GZ
Welcome to you both. What part of AA are you from GZ? I work on the west side of town off Jackson and Zeeb. I run up to Pontiac now and again as well. I live in the sticks and have too many projects!
Welcome, fellas. I'm from the Muskegon area, currently live in Lansing and my brother goes to school in AA. Alas, I've only been to Pontiac once. -Dave

Big Cheeze, I drove to north east Muskegon to pickup my cab and frame from "hotrodwarehouse"(ebay store), Nice guy....Ka-Zoo, I went to school there for about 6 years, some of the best times in my life were in Kzoo.
